This illustration shows a hemp leaf and some of it’s uses was made by then 8 year old Diem. She made this series one day when our friend Dez brought recycled menus to draw on. Diem took the paper and turned it into three little hemp bags, each with this smart illustration of what hemp means to her. The drawing show hemp as a leaf but also as its most common uses as twine or rope, fabric and oil for consumption.
